GTM ETM ETM–PI SENSOR OPTIONS ACCESSORIES

The Texcel ETM delivers unmatched monitoring versatility in one rugged, precision engineered, self contained instrument. The ETM's robust design makes it ideal for use in harsh environments and it can be used for unattended operation on long or short term monitoring applications.

The ETM accommodates a large choice of sensors and accessories, is simple to set up and, of course, is backed by Texcel technical support and our proprietary T-Link software.

FEATURES

Triggered Events and Continuous Monitoring simultaneously: Continuous monitoring is not interrupted by a triggered event.

No Down Time: Triggered event processing does not delay subsequent triggered events.

Trigger on Vector Sum Threshold: Also trigger on microphone (dBL) and/or individual elements.

Remote Monitoring: The optional on-board modem (GSM or Next G) with antenna provides remote monitor communication functions. This opens up opportunities for long-term remote site monitoring and unattended operation, with consequent cost savings in staff labour.

Duty Timetables: T-Link allows the user to create duty timetables, enabling the monitor to go into ‘sleep’ mode when monitoring is not required. This helps to conserve battery life between charges.

Range Change: Now available through T-Link software.

Overpressure Peak Detect: The ETM incorporates circuitry to detect peak overpressure, providing a 100µs detector onset time as required by many environmental authorities.

Vibration Dose Value (VDV): All event data are processed within the monitor and results comply with AS2670/BS6472 (or overseas equivalent).

Standard 32-bit processor: Provides sampling rates up to 40 kHz.
Zero Crossing Frequency results are available in all reports and all events. (Except VDV and A-Weight).

Vector sum result in continuous mode.

Event data: All event data are processed within the monitor, including ground vibration, peak vector sum and Vibration Dose Value (VDV).

Retrieve while monitoring: Results can be retrieved (either directly or remotely) without interrupting monitoring.

Easy PC communication: RS232 serial interface or a USB port (using serial adapter cable).

Large Backlit LCD: Readable under all lighting conditions.

Directional keypad: For simple navigation through the ETM’s menus, which are similar to Texcel’s proven µMX, ATM and CTM instruments.

SMS Notification: The ETM (when equipped with a modem) can send SMS messages to a number of people when a specified trigger level has been exceeded. The SMS can be either a customised message or the event data (exceedance levels only).

Standard 16 Mbyte onboard memory Allows thousands of waveforms and tens of thousands of events to be stored.

Power supply: The ETM draws power from long life internal batteries for up to one month depending on configuration, mains supply, (optional) external battery or from its own (optional) solar panel, making it suitable for operation in almost any situation.

Wirebreak trigger and trigger synchronise: For even more built-in capability, these functions are a standard feature of the ETM.

Packaging: The ETM is packaged in a rugged and durable case, which also holds the batteries, sensors and accessories. The IP65 rated weatherproof design of this self contained unit allows you to transport and install the ETM easily and without additional protection or housings.

Colour Coded Connectors: The ETM’s connector panel is colour coded, with matching colours on all sensors and accessories. All connectors are also keyed uniquely, making for easy setup of the ETM.

Accessory Options: Alarm Light, T-Sched, Modems, External Battery, Solar Panel, Wirebreak, Trigger Sync Box, Splitter Box.

Sensor Options: Standard triaxial geophone, low frequency, high range, microphone. For more information go to the Sensor Options page.
